Fashion is about expressing our identities, showing people who we are through our choice of fashion and using our clothes to tell others something about us. Part of choosing ethical fashion over other fashion brands adds another element to what fashion means to us and what we choose to express to others.

The difference between fashion and style is quite simple. Fashion is what is being offered and worn by most of us at any particular point in time and is over quickly, whereas style is forever. Our style could be more about comfort than fashion, but by cultivating our own unique style we have adopted that innate capability now to be charismatic and confident.

Fashion covers all kinds of clothing like hats, glasses, shirts, jackets, blouses, dresses, skirts, gowns, belts, trousers, shoes and jewellery, which also covers bracelets, rings, necklaces and earrings - all of which can be made from copper, gold or even silver.

Fashion show runway

Fashion is so popular that there are many fashion shows around the world, but the biggest are held in London (England), Paris (France), New York (USA) and Milan (Italy) about twice yearly. Some are known as "Fashion Icons" even though the term is almost pervasive to the point of a cliché because a "fashion icon" is classified as a person who has considerable influence in how other people dress, even with what designs are shown on the runway.

At the other end of the scale are "Fashion Followers" which are people who wear a certain style only after it becomes a popular trend. Normal people are examples of fashion followers. An example of a person becoming a fashion follower is when someone sees "boyfriend jeans" on a model and starts to like it because of the model.
